New Year!

Happy New Year!

It's 3 am and my cat is purring next to me while I look at backpacks for hiking and adventuring. I really should be doing the many other productive things I have on my to-do list but I'm just way to excited for my future.

I'm going to see the world.

"I'm European, of course I'm romantic"

I really enjoy collecting quotes. And there's this quote that I really like.

"Can you imagine a world without men?  No crime and lots of happy fat women."  -Nicole Hollander

For some reason, I always think of that quote when I have men/relationship-related problems. It makes me laugh.

October's End

I re-read my old posts and have come to the conclusion that the posts as a collective do not flow. It made me wonder if this was symbolic of how I secretly perceived myself; how maybe this reflects the identity issue I am in denial of.  So then I began to think about my most recent human-to-human interactions and realize how I seem to act and be quite different in every situation.

I started to really question who I am, quite conveniently, during the only time it is acceptable for one to pretend they are anyone but themselves.

I realize, to express such "raw" and private thoughts on the internet is pretty much ironic.
